Passing Hats Featured on WFAA-TV

WFAA-TV profiled the Passing the Hat program at the Charles A. Sammons Cancer Center.

The program enlists the help of volunteers, who knit hats for cancer patients who are undergoing chemotherapy.

It started out in 2011 as a way to help a friend, and has blossomed into program that has created more than 10,000 hats in 2015 and feeds every hospital in the Baylor system.

Passing Hats executive director Ellen Miller and cancer survivor Danielle Dennis were both featured in the story.
