2020 What A Year- 2021 We Celebrate 10 Years of Passing Hats

2020 has been quite a year for all of us. Now that it is 2021, New things for a new year.

We are now celebrating 10 years since we started Passing Hats. We have active group meetings in Texas and Colorado. I am thrilled to say we have made over 100,000 hats and distributed them to adults and children. A small update for this past crazy year. Most hospitals and clinics wouldn’t accept our hats. I changed things up and all the hats were washed and individually bagged, keeping patients in mind. We were then able to deliver our hats to several hospitals and clinics. We have amazing volunteers and I want to thank all of you for your hard work.

In case you are not following us on FaceBook, I did mention we are celebrating 10 years as Passing Hats as of March. It has been quite an experience learning from all of you and especially the patients we support. Since we began we have made and donated 100,492 hats to date in several states. Without all of you, we could have not gotten here so once again Thank you!!

Some exciting news, One of our volunteers Sharyn Diamond wrote a fantastic children’s book Amy’s Amazing Hats, a book about friendship, caring, and kindness. You can get a copy on SmileAmazon.com using Ellen’s Passing the Hat as your non-profit. We appreciate every dime we receive. “>Amys Amazing Hats

I am hoping by the end of 2021 we will be able to meet in person once again. I am looking forward to that day. Stay well!!
